Yes, this is a fast way to convert a car, in fact there are to add some SA dummyes and other stuff to be a complete conversion. The Anos script makes the reflections in SA style just in some clicks, without modify every material. But if you want to modify them you can whenever you want. To record the video I used Snag-it 8 (isn't free).

I don't know exactly. I never used gmax... Anyway, I think you can using the Kam's script for Gmax. The Ano's script is not indispensable but is recommended for reflections.
